Sistina has long been one of our favorite New York restaurants. Tucked away on the Upper East Side, it feels romantic and elegant from the moment you arrive, with fresh flowers, candlelight and even a painted canvas ceiling creating an atmosphere that is unmistakably special.
The restaurant has often been described as an ode to the Amalfi Coast, and the food lives up to the setting — beautifully prepared Italian dishes, excellent wines and gracious, old-school New York hospitality.
Giuseppe Bruno is very much part of the experience. His warmth and presence have helped make Sistina the kind of restaurant people return to again and again.
For us, it remains a New York favorite.
